April 11, 2025 – At Khao Chaiak, Khao Chaiak Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phatthalung Province, Deputy Governor Mr. Tharawut Chuaykoet, together with Mr. Surat Charanyothin, Director of Phatthalung’s Tourism and Sports Office, and related teams, held a press conference to announce the upcoming “Roi Phat-Lung” Amazing Phatthalung Life Festival 2025.
The event, organized by the Phatthalung Tourism and Sports Office in collaboration with the Khao Chaiak Subdistrict Municipality and private sectors, will take place from April 18 to 21, 2025 at Khao Chaiak. It is part of a creative tourism enhancement project, aimed at promoting local tourism and increasing its value.
This festival will offer new market opportunities for tourism entrepreneurs, local product vendors, restaurants, and service providers, helping to boost the province’s tourism economy and ensure sustainable growth.
Under the theme “Eat Roi, Do Roi, Travel Roi, Show Roi” (a local dialect meaning “Delicious, Fun, Hands-on, Spectacular”), the event features several main zones:
- Eat Roi Zone: Showcasing local cuisine such as Talay Noi fish roe, bamboo shoot curry with shrimp paste, and traditional desserts.
- Do Roi Zone: Featuring local crafts like Krajood weaving, traditional fabrics, and Manorah beadwork.
- Travel Roi Zone: Highlighting natural and cultural tourist spots through exhibitions like “Khao-Pa-Na-Le”.
- Show Roi Zone: Presenting stunning performances including Manorah dance, shadow puppetry, and live concerts from legendary rock band Blackhead, Kao from The Voice, and local popular artists.
The festival also promotes tourism connectivity across districts within Phatthalung.
“We are confident that this event will generate no less than 15 million baht in economic circulation for Phatthalung Province,” said the Deputy Governor.
